As the Cannes film festival is now over, I thought it would be to discuss the most important thing about the event – the outfits.
I’m not too sure about everyone else but I get so confused at the festival because there’s all these models walking red carpet for something that’s a film festival. So whether you’re actually an actor/actress or just a model, I thought I would talk about my favourite outfits and my not so favourite.
FAVOURITE OUTFITS (in no order)
Bella Hadid in Alexandre Vauthier – I really love this gown, it’s so classic and the colour is stunning.
Uma Thurman in Atelier Versace – I love everything about this dress! The colour and cut is just stunning.
Coco Konig in Ralph & Russo – The dress is absolutely stunning.
Julianne Moore in Givenchy – I love the colour and the style of this dress.
Sara Sampaio in Zuhair Murad – You can tell this is a Zuhair Murad dress, the colour is just amazing. I would so get married in this gown!
Winnie Harlow in Zuhair Murad – Once again another stunning gown!
Sara Sampaio in Francesco Scognamiglio – At first I really didn’t like this dress, then I kept looking at it and I thought wow, it’s beautiful!
Elsa Hosk in Alberta Ferretti – This dress reminds me so much of Valentino, and coming from someone who doesn’t like sheer outfits, I love this.
Nicole Kidman in Dior – I love the earth tones on this dress, it all comes together beautifully.
Diane Kruger in Dior – At first I wasn’t going to add this dress into my favourites, but if I didn’t I’d regret it. This dress is stunning, I’m not too sure about the accessories but the dress is beautiful.
Sara Sampaio in Elie Saab – Whoever styled Sara did the most amazing job; every gown I’ve seen her in looks stunning. This dress reminds me of an ice queen but maybe in like spring?
Elsa Hosk in Alberta Ferretti – Now this is a snow queen gown! This gown is so stunning.
Lara Stone in Chanel – I remember seeing this dress at the show and I died! The dress itself is stunning, though I don’t like the boobs hanging out, it can look a bit tacky.
Sofia Richie in Alberta Ferretti – This is a big step from her Met Gala look and I absolutely love it. I love the yellow statement bag.
Bella Hadid in Ralph & Russo – I wanted to put this dress last because I do like it, but I’m not a fan of sheer. For me that’s way too much skin showing, the dress would be stunning if there was more underneath. I’m not saying I hate this dress because I do think it’s stunning and would’ve taken forever to make, I just think there should’ve been more of it.
NOT SO FAVOURITE OUTFITS (in no order)
Kendall Jenner in Giambattista Valli- If you’re a Kendall fan than I’d stop reading. I wasn’t a fan of this dress; I’m very open on my blog and I’m not afraid to voice my opinion, I really thought this looked like a bed sheet. Also what’s with the sheer socks? I don’t get it.
Bella Hadid in Dior – I love the colour of this dress, but the pattern looks like a blanket.
Araya A. Hargate in Ralph & Russo – The first thing I thought of was a swan but with 10x more feathers.
Emily Ratajkowski in Dundas – I really didn’t like this dress one bit. I don’t like the middle boob bit, I really think it ruins the dress completely.
Coco Rocha in Georges Hobeika – I love the colour of the dress but something about it doesn’t look appealing to me, I think it’s all the ruffles.
Jessica Chastain in Dior – I love how she went for something bold, but I’m not a fan of the green.
Julianne Moore in Sonia Rykiel – I don’t think there’s a lot to say about this dress, don’t like it at all.
Kendall Jenner in Alexandre Vauthier – I really don’t understand this. It’s like when you ask you’re friends what they’re wearing out and they say casual but you also want to dress up?
Elle Fanning in Prada – I’m not a fan on the feather and the colour of the dress.
Nicole Kidman in Calvin Klein – She looks like a marshmallow, I love Nicole but I don’t love the outfit.
Rita Ora in Ulyana Sergeenko – I don’t like anything about this dress.
Elle Fanning in Rodarte – I love Elle and I love Rodarte but I don’t love this. It reminds me too much of a formal/prom dress, but the colour is beautiful.

There were so many more stunning gowns at Cannes but I had to pick atleast a top 10. I would love to hear your favourites and not so favourites as well!
