Hello and welcome back to my blog!
As I’m writing this post, it’s the 30th of October, which means Halloween is, tomorrow?! Halloween is my favourite time of the year, so I thought I’d do an extra post (as I never post on a monday) and help those out who still have no idea on what they’re going to wear!
Majority of the outfits can be found in almost any store – which is what I’m aiming for because you should be able to go out and grab them either the day before or day of Halloween!!
BEETLEJUICE
Beetlejuice is one of my favourite Halloween movies and it’s really not hard dressing up as Beetle Juice himself; all you need is stripy pants, stripe blazer and a tone of make up!
THE PURGE
The Purge is such a great movie and when dressing up as the characters all you need is a creepy smiling mask and fake guns/knifes! Everyone else in the movie wears normal clothes, but dress a bit fancy and maybe add a little blood on the mask or you body.
WEDNESDAY & MORTICIA ADDAMS
Want a fun and easy mother and daughter costume? Or maybe best friends? Wednesday and Morticia Addams is the way to go – all you need is a lot of black.
ROSIE THE RIVETER
Want to show your feminist side, or maybe promote girl power? Rosie the Riveter has you covered! All you need is that pin up hair style, denim shirt and jeans, and that perfect red headband. Oh and a passion for female rights!
THE SHINING
If you’re after something scary and want a costume with your bestie, go for the twins in The Shining! Not only are they creepy AF but so fun to dress up as! All you need is a simple dress, long white socks, ballet flats and A LOT of blood!
ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW
If you want to dress a bit extra, don’t forget about the classic Rocky Horror Picture Show! My favourite scene is when Frank has just brought Rocky to life and is in that green dress with the pink gloves – so easy to recreate.
SKULL KING & QUEEN
Inspired by the queen of Halloween herself, Vanessa Hudgens, I thought I’d dedicate the last costume idea to her and Austin Butler. Now please know the difference between sugar skull and a skull – Sugar Skull is to celebrate the Day of the dead ( Dia de los Muertos ) which does NOT relate to Halloween!! If you’re going for that skull look, find a youtube video and wear something black and you’re ready to go.
I hope these last minute costumes help those who have no idea and no time left!! I would love to know what/who you’re going as for Halloween?

I love Halloween as well! The best part of it is the dressing up 🙂 You made a real great and unique selection, love it. My faves are the Adams and the Purge. Hope you have a great Halloween!

Thank you!!! How amazing is Halloween? Unfortunately it’s not big in Australia which is a shame but I always find a way to celebrate! X
