Hello lovely people and welcome back to my blog!

In case anyone was wondering, no I didn’t die, I just needed a break.

I took some time off over Christmas just so I could focus on myself, hang out with my family and friends and just enjoy myself over the Christmas period – which I did.

I don’t feel guilty for taking time off but I did miss writing posts every week; I highly recommend taking a break once in a while and just focus on you.

It’s currently the 4th of January, 2018 – how crazy is that? Also thank gosh 2017 is over. I’m not going to talk details but 2017 has mentally been the toughest year of my life; from breakups to really bad mental health issues, it’s something I won’t be repeating again this year. 2017 had it’s great moments though, I started my blog (which turns 1 in a few days how exciting), I got closer with my friends and family, I have people in my life who I actually couldn’t live without. If you told me at the start of 2017 that everything would be completely different towards the end, I’d laugh. Towards the end of the year I really got my shit together and focused on me. I have people in my life who love me so much and really motivate me to be a better person.

Now 2018, do I have some goals for you. This is the year to smash out goals and be the best person you can be. I’m not expecting to land a job with Vogue by the end of the year (but wow that would be so amazing, but so not realistic!). This year I’m focusing on MYSELF for MYSELF and you all should as well. I’m going to be selfish, but in a good way of course, I’m going to spend more time with the people I love and also do everything I possibly can career wise.

This year I’m going to be more career driven and focused, I’m going to get more experience and learn so much more about the industry. I also have so many amazing things I want to do for this blog.

This year give yourself realistic goals, be selfish, have fun, be you. Don’t let another 2017 happen because we all know that was horrible. Wake up every morning and find something you’re grateful for, don’t beat yourself up or let others get you down.

Next week all my posts will be back to normal and fashion related. I thought I’d get a bit real with you all and just share my thoughts. Get ready for a banging year!

  2. Hey. As a very recent follower to your blog I haven’t tracked back to see what you life ambitions are but it’s always refreshing to see a simple life blog to the people. Something that has reminded me to do also as my blog http://www.TrevellRichards.com is kinda aimed to what I want to do long run. Cut a long story short I am sorry to hear that your 2017 wasn’t what it set out to be. However your tone of voice now sets a different trend. I debated for 2 years about starting my blog and achieving my end goal of what I want to do. I talked myself out of every hurdle. But something snapped towards the end of last year and I thought f-it. Now the more I have blogged the more motivation and hype I have about what is a serious passion of mine, ( more than I realised ). I am so on this year which is going to be long and a struggle with things i want to achieve. But I have decided I am going to do this and own it. This year is the birth of my label and at the end of the I will look back to see how far I have come. This is what I want for this year. You have it in you to cause nuclear warfare this year….just decide and that’s it…no hesi. I would like to keep touching Base with you to make sure we are meeting our targets for this year. 😉

    1. That’s amazing!!! I love this so much! I’m so glad you’ve started your blog and can’t wait to see more! Once you start it’s so hard to stop – when I took my break I felt so lost but now I’m so motivated and ready to make this year amazing! Thank you for your kind words, feel free to email me and we can make sure we’re both smashing our goals this year! XX

Hopefully the site will be up end of tonight. But not sure I can take across the followers. I will keep you posted on this. And I will be defiantly keeping in touch Re our goals :-)x
