NYFW A/W 18/19

Hello lovely people and welcome back to my blog!

As we all know it’s that time of the year, FASHION WEEK! Well month because that’s basically how long it goes on for.

Now we always start in the beautiful NYC and end in Paris, we’re currently in London so that means I can finally give my review on the shows in New York. Being completely honest, I wasn’t the biggest fan or loved any collections – my favourite week is Paris but NYC normally has good shows. I was a bit disappointed but still think there were some great collections.

The main thing I loved about the show was the colours; every colour had it’s place in the outfit and it really worked.

I loved the knitted sweaters so much, especially the dress – it really gave the feel of an A/W collection.

The thing I love the most about A/W collections is the coats the designers bring out. Was not disappointed.

I normally don’t love Calvin Klein collections, but everything about this was just stunning. I loved the oversized pieces.

The best show was Marc Jacobs, easy. I don’t know how “wearable” all the pieces are but it was just so perfect. I’m loving everything oversized for winter and Marc Jacobs took it to the next level.

I don’t think Han Chong can ever do wrong; I’m constantly falling in love with every Self-Portrait collection.

I loved the colours and the cut in this collection.

Brandon Maxwell is another designer that never does wrong. Every collection is beautiful cuts, always elegance with a hint of fun.

Victoria Beckham has to be in my top 5 favourite designers. Her collection wasn’t to die for but the bags were just the perfect statement.

I wasn’t in love with the collection and I find Alexander Wang’s collections to be the same, but I did enjoy some of the pieces.

I loved everything about the collection; the cuts, colours, the way that they’re styled. The pop of colour won me over.

Beautiful collection; I need the denim trousers asap!

I still don’t know if I’m the biggest fan of the Coach collection, it reminds me too much of Dior.

I would love to know your thoughts on NYFW? What was your favourite collection?

I’ll be doing a post for every location but currently on holiday so taking a break from my blog to focus on myself and enjoy my time away. All my posts will be back to normal in March!
