Hello lovely people and welcome back to my blog!
This post is something completely different and something I have never done before, but before I get into all of that I want to explain why I’ve been away.
I’ve barely been posting at all this year and it has been killing me, but I’ve been working on some exciting things. The one thing I can now share with you is my new business that I’ve started up with one of my best friends; instead of telling you all about my business, it’s a lot easier to show you – so here it goes.
For those wondering, no Ivory J is not my business. It’s run by the beautiful Jodie, who gave us the opportunity to work with her and let us give her more content for her business.
To make it a bit easier, I sat down with Jodie and thought I’d ask a few questions so we can all know what Ivory J is all about.
Who is Jodie, the creator of Ivory J?
Jodie is a born and bred Fiji island girl at heart, who is so incredibly excited to introduce Ivory J.
What made you want to start a business?
It stemmed from my sisters owning their own label Bimby and Roy who sell swim, sleep, play intimates that I adored. I’ve always had a love of coastal fashion and jewellery and thought one day I could create my own business selling things I love!
Why the name Ivory J? Is there any meaning behind it?
The name Ivory J comes from buying my first place that had the name Ivory connected to it. When I was thinking of a name, I thought why not call it something meaningful? And J is the first letter of my name!
What inspired you to create Ivory J?
My inspiration stems from me growing up in Fiji and seeing so many beautiful coastal accessories/bags and jewellery. I then wanted to create my own designs.
Favourite piece in your current collection?
I love all my products. But if I were to choose one I would definitely go for my rattan bags. They are the best for literally any occasion.

Now that you know about Ivory J, let me give you a quick rundown on what Joel and I do. Joel and I work with brands and make campaigns; whether it’s for handbags, shoes, earrings, anything we can relate and vibe to. It’s not something I’m good at explaining, mainly showing, so click HERE to watch our campaign video for Ivory J – enjoy. X
